We’ve been following the Success of this initiative for several years, and WAKO GB are excited to announce our endorsement partnership with Pink Belt Kickboxing. A Women only Empowerment Initiative centred around Martial Arts, specifically, Kickboxing.
Pink Belt Kickboxing is just for women. They donate to charity with every Empowerment Programme sign up and they’re making strides into opening doors for women and girls into kickboxing across the globe.
Their aim is to build confidence from within using Kickboxing as the medium. It’s focus at foundation level is to teach basic skills and improve fitness, safely in a group exercise environment where the only things getting hit, are the pads! It’s endorsed by CIMSPA and their courses are NVQ Approved.
We wanted to add our stamp of approval as a forward thinking pioneer from the Martial Arts Community. When the student has achieved their Pink Belt through the initiative, they can be integrated into a kickboxing club near to their town so that they can continue learning under a WAKO Dan graded, Qualified Kickboxing Instructor who can grade them to a full syllabus.
It’s a strong message of Female Empowerment and building confidence in Women that we wanted to get behind.
