Due to COVID-19, the Children, Cadet and Junior World Championships has been postponed from August and moved to November 2020, in the hope that we will be able to send athletes to compete later on in the year. Confirmation was received from WAKO IF today regarding the Age bracket restrictions. It has been confirmed that all competitors will be in the age category that they would have been in as at August 21st 2020. Therefore, if an athlete turns 16 years of age in September 2020, they will still be able to compete in the 13-15yr old age category. This will be a one-off exception to the WAKO rules for this year only.
