Yesterday was a special moment. After so long in lockdown and training on zoom, it was fantastic to see the squad finally come together at Bisham Abbey National Sport Centre.
With Under 18’s in phase 2 of the combat framework the cadets were able to put on their pads for some much needed sparring.
A big thank you to everyone that followed the protocols ensuring we could deliver a covid secure event.
The day started off with the Young Cadets and Older Cadets on their respective mats – keeping to their respective bubbles. Once they finished and left the venue, we cleaned and sanitised everything, ready for the next session.
The 2nd session had the Juniors and Adults. Obviously, the 18yrs+ could not spar, but we had them doing drills and so forth.
It was great to be back and great to see everybody in person again! Hopefully a great day was had by all.
